The Energy Group (Camille, Max, Sam and Charlotte), a sub committee of the Eco Warriors, has been considering ways in which Dolphin can save energy in the school and so saving money.

The Energy Group is led by Mrs de Carvalho, to whom we are very grateful for the time she spent on this initiative. Their aim is for us to switch off the lights when we leave the classroom, corridors or other rooms and measure whether we can make a difference.

The team presented their findings and ideas in Assembly on Wednesday 25th November. An electricity reading had been taken over a one week period before their presentation. We will now monitor on a weekly basis whether we are having an effect on consumption by switching off lights.
