The children did a fantastic job, as they do every year, and raised a staggering £750 in under two hours, and £60 up from last year!

Most of the forty-odd stalls were home made and included Catch the Rat (or toy car!), Hunt for Treasure, Face and Nail painting, Milkshakes to order, and get a caricature of yourself while-u-wait! The children and staff enjoyed a festive atmosphere, a lovely event to round the term off.

The money raised will go to our charity for the year, Daisy's Dream, which received the most votes from the Year 8 presentations made a short while back. Other charities presented were Home Start, Berkshire County Blind Society, Naomi House & Jack's Place and Launchpad. All the charities on offer this year were local ones. We will invite a representative from the Daisy's Dream charity to come and talk to the school in an assembly.

Daisy's Dream supports children and their families affected by both life threatening illness and bereavement, throughout Berkshire and the surrounding areas. To find out more, visit www.daisysdream.org.uk
