The team who organised the wonderful event

FunRaisers, the Parent Teacher Association of Dolphin School, held their first ever fund raising dinner dance at the Henley Management College on Saturday 27th June.

The evening was warm and sunny and started with drinks on the terrace of the beautiful building over looking the river. The enchanting music of a string quartet really added something special to the atmosphere at the start of the evening.

Rogue Traders presenter, Matt Allwright, who is also an Old Delphinian and now a Governor of Dolphin School, was highly entertaining as the compare for the Auction of Promises which followed the delicious dinner. Lots on offer ranged from baking a cake, to hospitality tickets for Wembley to see England v Belarus in October.

We are very grateful to the parents who organised and attended the event, especially given the current economic climate. The evening was planned more than a year ago. The children will benefit enormously from the £5,500 raised.
