Nursery International Day

Nursery_International_Day__23__1.jpg
The nursery children loved showing their parents all their wonderful and creative art work during International Day.

Saturday 6th December was International Day for Dolphin Nursery. The whole nursery was transformed into the continents of the world using artwork, photos, role play areas and artifacts. The children proudly showed their parents what they had achieved this term, and all enjoyed tasting food from around the world. The Montessori nursery which is sited in an adapted barn looked amazingly colourful, and all the children and nursery teachers were dressed in International outfits.

On a cold winter morning there was a warm atmosphere in the nursery as parents chatted over a glass of mulled wine. A highlight was when the children all stood around a huge map of the world and sang and did actions to a range of around the world songs.

On Monday 8th December the upper school had the opportunity to visit the nursery and talk to the children. Seeing the nursery children confidently share their experiences with 12 year olds was very special to see and it truly captured the spirit of the school.
