Poetry Cabaret

As part of our National Book Week celebrations Years Seven and Eight delighted an audience of family and friends with a Poetry Cabaret Evening featuring poetry recitals and music.
During the same day the poet, Trevor Millum, ran writing workshops with Years Seven and Eight and some of this work was performed during the evening.
The entertainment included poems about poetry, love, food, islands and a few ghosts and monsters too! Mr Dean-Lewis, a jazz pianist, provided even more entertainment.
The performance took place the night before National Poetry Day.
