David Cooper, Head of Music and Resident Composer, wrote the musical, The Importance of Being a McGurgle, which was performed for the very first time on Thursday and Friday 13th and 14th December.
The action took place in a haunted castle and was in the style of an Agatha Christie mystery.
It is always exciting to anticipate the performance of children at Dolphin who so enjoy the drama challenges on offer, but especially so when the production is entirely new. And the children did not disappoint. It was a triumph for all involved.
David has composed and directed a number of shows for Dolphin over the years including The Pied Piper, Aladdin and The Black Bird.
