Year Seven delighted Nursery on Friday March 20th as part of World Story Telling Day.

World Story Telling Day is an international celebration of the art of storytelling. It is celebrated on the first day of the spring equinox in the northern hemisphere every year. During this celebration, people are encouraged to listen to stories and then share them with others throughout the day, thereby promoting communication and the sharing of experiences and enjoyment.  The main aim is to increase the flow of stories in many languages and from as many cultures as possible.

Year Seven recorded family members telling stories, and then armed with these stories they visited Nursery to re-tell them.  They also read a few old favourite stories that they listened to when they were small, such as 'The Tiger who Came to Tea'.  Christy's many stories about his accident prone Grandpa could have kept us all amused for weeks!
