Little Wittenham

Yesterday Year 2 visited an Iron Age museum.  First we pretended to be archaeologists! Next I made a clay pot (it was really good). After that I did some weaving.  Finally I made a doll out of a twig and a cowpat.  Oh and by the way the person that looked after us was called Tamsin.

Yesterday Year 2 visited an Iron Age museum.  We went to eat our snacks to top op for the big walk ahead of us.  We were put into groups and we went to do some different activities.  I went to do the sieving first and then I made a clay pot and it looked like a heart.  My group went last of all to the weaving. Next we had to make the sheep wool look like a sausage.  Then we tied it to a stick and after that we spun it and took it off and started to weave it.  A little while later we went on the longest walk I have ever been on and Daisy and I were at the front.  We were for ever complaining that we did not want to go on the walk and finally we went back to school!
