My first Dolphin School trip was to Northumbria. I was really excited when we left the school grounds because it was new to me, and I hadn't been away for so long. On the first day we went to an Anglo Saxon church in Escomb which we had to sketch. I have found that I enjoy sketching more than I used to. The days were jam packed and we had several early starts. Hadrian's Wall was really interesting but the best part was the scramble. My favourite part of the whole trip was the Japanese restaurant! Overall I enjoyed the trip thoroughly and I am looking forward to my next trip with Dolphin.
