We first met Brigg.  Then she showed us a game.  It was called the food chain game.   Some were poisonous and some worms were camouflaged.  To get the worms for the baby blue tits.   After that we went to the pond.  I caught water boatman and water beetle and sludge worms.  After I went on a trailer ride.  I sat on hay and it was bumpy.  First we saw the cows they tried to eat the hay.  Then we saw sheep then we went to the beehive.  We we didn't see the queen bee but we did in the end.  Then we had lunch.  After lunch I went to the river.  Mrs Alderson went in to the river.  Mr Hallisey was in the river.  Mrs Alderson had waders.  Brigg and Mrs Alderson held the tape measure.   Mrs Alderson put the orange in the water to measure the flow.  Then we saw the animals in the water.  Then I went to back to school.

We went to Rushall Farm and Brigg was our guide and we played the food chain game and we were blue tits and we had to catch caterpillars to feed our baby chicks then danger came, Mrs Alderson was a sparrow hawk.   Then we went pond dipping.  We used nets and we caught water boatmen and blood worms, water beetles and sludge worms. Then we went on a trailer ride and cows tried to eat the straw and it was bumpy.  Then we went to the beehive and we tried to spot the queen bee and we spun out the honey then had lunch.  We went to the river and Mrs Alderson put some waders on then we measured how wide the river was and caught a crayfish and a fresh water shrimp and then we washed our hands and then we went back to school.

We went inside .  We saw bees working.  One of the bees was the queen bee.  Then we went on a trailer ride.  We saw the naughty boys.  They were bullocks.  We went pond dipping.  We found a water boatman, water snail,  and lots of weed.  We found lots and lots of creatures.  We did fishng.  We poured it into a bowl.  We went on a colour search.  We rolled logs over we found minibeasts.

When we went to the trip we started with the bees.  We found out the bees made wax and honey. Then we went on a trailer ride. We met the "naughty boys". Then we went pond dipping. We found creatures.  We netted them and put them into a bowl.  We found some flowers we stuck them on a piece of card and we rolled over logs, we found a lot of mini-beasts.  Then we did an experiment.  Then we went back to school.
