Looking at our perfect tree, all around are wonderful decorations,

Tinsel and glass baubles, a star on the top, chocolate Santas hang from its branches,

Children's eyes bulge at the sight like saucers!

Children anxious to open their presents, want to see inside!

Cards all written, big and small with Merry Christmas inside.

The smell of mince pies fresh from the oven.

Children all thinking of Santa on his way.

Can't wait for Christmas dinner tomorrow, with turkey and roast potatoes.

All the Advent calendars empty now,

Tomorrow's Christmas Day!
