My School
Dolphin is always a happy place,
Each and every student has a smile upon their face,
It’s easy to make friends at a school like this,
You can chat and play, even have your first kiss, (!)
Recently this year, Jimmy the peacock has become one of our peers,
At the beginning of the year we embarked on the play,
Little did you know the Pied Piper is coming your way!
And now Dolphin Night is looming near,
And we know that we’ll all shed a tear,
Last but not least; enjoy the Fair!
Because it’ll be talked about everywhere!

My first is in Drama, Drawing and Dance.
My second’s in York the best house well it’s mine!
My third is in Laughter, Latin, Hot Lunch.
My fourth ends a trip, when I’ve had a great time.
My fifth is in History, ancient to now.
My sixth is in science, that’s why, what and how.
My last is in Netball, rounders and win.
Put the letters together and what do you get?
DOLPHIN, a school I will never forget!

Dolphin School is fun,
It is nearly number one.
Younger ones go on lots of trips,
On Friday’s Year 8’s have chips.
Dolphin School has a big pool,
We are really cool!!!
We do lots of sports,
We even have a tennis court.
Our sports are swimming,
Sports Day, P.E. too,
The best things about my school,
Are the lovely TEACHERS!!
I have lots of mates,
We have school gates,
We have a big field,
That is all about today,
So bye bye and hip hip hooray,
I’m in DOLPHIN SCHOOL!!

I like to go to Dolphin School,
I like to go in the swimming pool,
In P.E. I can run and run,
And French is lots of fun.
We do games and gardening,
And we do music and painting,
We all like handwriting,
And we all like playing.
