Storm

Yellow, like the yolk of an egg, spiralling down upon the sea

the sea exploding as if it was a massive cover

coming down over the people in the sand.

Fish escaping the yellow worms, like a

magician

on ice skates, dazzling the audience.

There is a road map telling the destination

of the trees,

a flash of light and then

a crackle like a witch cackling away into the night.

Roots of a tree dig into the ground

as it goes on holding strong, hoping it will survive

the night.
