Some day, long ago, we got a cat.

It was brown and fully grown, with a nice slick tail.

It was the second day when the cat escaped.

It climbed up the tree

And it climbed over the roof.

Then it found another tree to climb down,

And it escaped!

We'd called him Whiskers,

But he didn't stay.

Who knows where the cat ended up.

Could it have made it back home,

Where it came from?

Or did he...?  You don't want to know.
