Scrooge's Ghost

Once upon a time in the middle of the night Scrooge was fast asleep and suddenly the candle flickered and went out.  The door opened.  The ghost of the churchyard hovered slowly drifting closer to Scrooge's bed. Scrooge woke up at a start. The ghost was dressed in Roman rags and said, "Your fortune will be bad and you will die early."

Archie

Long ago on a dark night.  A girl and a boy were huddled next to their mother's grave.  The stream prickled. Suddenly they heard a sound. A brown figure was moving towards them! It was a bear! The bear growled at them.  Just then a wolf came up to the bear and snarled.  He got in a fight.  The wolf won! Then the children realised that the wolf was a ghost.  The wolf ghost took the place of their mother.  It fed them its milk.  It cleaned them.   It raised them.
