Scholarships won to senior schools at thirteen:

There is a long tradition at Dolphin of securing children a place at the senior school of their choice. Having laid the strong foundations for future academic success by investing in your child’s early education, the choices available at thirteen are significantly widened.

Dolphin is not a feeder school for any particular senior school and our children move on to a range of independent, state and grammar schools. The Common Entrance syllabuses followed in Years Seven and Eight provide not only the basis of entry to an Independent Senior School but also a strong foundation for all GCSE courses taken at any subsequent senior school.

In 2010, 93% of our Year Eight leavers went on to independent senior schools (of those 33% went with some form of Scholarship and one child went into the state sector).
