Students in these year groups are very welcome to bring their families along with them. Popcorn and juice will be served. The movie is 113 minutes in length. This film carries a PG rating the definition of which is :

Unaccompanied children of any age may watch. A ‘PG’ film should not disturba child aged around eight or older. However, parents are advised to consider whether the content may upset younger or more sensitive children.

Don't miss a great movie classic!

Join other young musicians in ensembles and, for those of Grade 3 and above, play in the main orchestra, performing in a gala event celebrating the Olympics and the Queen’s Jubilee on 7 July. See the school notice board for details or contact Mandy Beard (Henley Festival) on 01491 843406 / http://www.henley-festival.co.uk/.

FunRaisers: The FunRaisers’ Comedy night on Friday, with performer Ginny Davis, proved to be a fun and very entertaining evening. A big thank you to all those who attended and for all the positive feedback. A fantastic profit of over £730 has been added to the new climbing frame fund.

Please remember next Thursday, 9 February, is Hot Lunch. (Years 3 & 6 hosting). Cake donations should be left in the hall on Thursday morning. Please let the Year 3 or 6 clippers know if you are able to help.

Future FunRaisers dates:

Friday 16 March - Disco

Friday 23 March - Hot Lunch

All details are also on the FunRaisers notice board by the school gate.

May we ask parents to observe the following termly reminder that we give you:

Will all parents please note that if for any reason you cannot collect your children on time, they must go to After School Care (Reception to Year 5) or Homework Club (Years 6 – 8).

All children have received a letter informing them about cricket coaching in the Easter holidays (25, 26, 27 April). If you are interested, please sign up at Reception as soon as possible. Those who did not receive a letter can also pick one up from Reception

Parent and Toddler Sessions: We are running more of our successful free parent and toddler sessions in Nursery this term. They will be held from 10.00am until 11.30am on Wednesday 8, 22 and 29 February. There will be music, games, toys and plenty of coffee for the parents! Do come along.

Please remember that your child will need a warm coat for outside play. Hats and gloves are important when the weather is especially cold.

Fleecy, warm, snug Dolphin Hats are for sale in the Reception or from Mrs. Hunt. They are £7 each. Please make sure these are named after you have bought them!

Cotswold Camping are offering a 10% discount on production of a Dolphin School compliment slip with the number D2043. If you would like one, please ask the school office.

The Wokingham Half Marathon Committee have notified us of road closures for this event on Sunday19 February. If you would like information about the roads that are affected, there is a leaflet in Meadow Reception.

The final day of term is Thursday 5 April. We will finish at normal time with the usual Thursday clubs and After School Care, although parents in Reception to Year 4 may wish to take their children straight home after the Junior Concert.
