Reminder that with the onset of hotter weather the children will need sun cream protection and hats.
Many thanks to all who participated in the music workshop on Tuesday with the Windsor and Maidenhead Orchestra. Our lucky children had the opportunity to play and sing with the orchestra and it was a memorable and enjoyable evening for audience and children alike.
FunRaisers have kindly organised a variety of circus workshops which will take place during school time on Friday 16 May.
Will all parents please note that if for any reason you cannot collect your children on time they must go to after school care (Reception to Year 5) or homework club (Years 6-8).
Summer Fun for Years 2-8!
There will be a multi-activity Dolphin course running at school from 21-25 July (the week after term finishes). Drama and music workshops plus a variety of sports all led by specialist teachers will take place in the mornings. Afternoon activities will be off site and will include laser quest, skiing, ice skating and swimming at Coral Reef. The week is being organised by Adam Warner, an ex-Dolphin teacher, who is returning in September. For more details pick up an information sheet from the school office. Several more pupils are required to make running the course viable, so sign up soon!
May we please remind all drivers entering the school car park that their speed should be limited to walking pace. All drivers should be aware that children from a very young age (albeit the responsibility of their parents) may be in the car park area.
YEAR 1
Please note in your diaries. A parents’ social evening to prepare children for Year 2 will be held on Wednesday 25 June from 7pm to 9pm in the school hall. This is an opportunity to meet staff informally.

South Downs Walking Trip 28 June. Any parent volunteers for this day would be most welcome. Please see Jane Hunt.
