A huge THANK-YOU to all who participated and contributed to the success and enjoyment of our 2022 BOOK FEST!   From the fabulously-fun drawing experience with Chloe Inkpen, the lively Train Adventures of Sam Sedgman and the gentle philosophical musing of Sebastian de Souza on ‘Why We Need Weirdos’ – it was high entertainment all round.  Laura Brand gave us a very busy and popular up-cycled ‘Shadow Puppet’ session – for more ideas on how to keep the kiddies creative, look no further than her book ‘Joy Journal for Magical everyday PLAY’.  Thanks too to FunRaisers for running the Dolphin Book Café and stalls, to Judy, Matthew and Ruby for the very novel and inspiring Poetry Pharmacy and to our pop-up bookshop ‘Mostly Books’ who offered a wide cross-section of titles – something for everyone!    For those of you who might have missed it – I have included below, Chris Routh’s recommended reading List along with Cressida Cowell’s Waterstones Children’s Laureate Charter….
