Y1 Bekonscot Trip 2023

On Tuesday 12^th September the Year 1s visited Bekonscot Model Village and Railway. This trip was the launch of our new topic on 'Houses and Homes'. We learnt about the history of homelife in a workshop. Roland Callingham built the model village nearly 100 years ago! It was fascinating to see all the tiny buildings and we enjoyed spotting different historical features. A highlight was the train ride! We are now looking forward to learning more about the history of homes and houses during our geography and history lessons.
