Y7 & Y8 Northumbria 2023

Y7&8 had an exciting five night field trip to Northumbria.

They have visited Durham Cathedral, Chesters, Lindisfarne, Jarrow Hall, Hadrian’s Wall and Fountains Abbey. Our pupils have built undershot watermills and Roman forts out of wood, and learnt about Saxon life in Britain, as well as sketching throughout and even participating in an outdoor photography workshop. The weather has been a real mix, with sunny, dry, windy and even rainy weather, thanks to the current storm!
