Year 4 Danebury Trip

Back

Year 4 classics concentrate on pre-Roman Britain. A highlight is a visit to the Iron Age Danebury Hill Fort preceded by a morning spent in the Museum of the Iron Age in Andover. There they will see artefacts related to many of the aspects of Iron Age life they have read about in class. A few miles down the road they will walk around the hill fort defences, stage a  mock attack, and get a real sense of the life of our ancestors.
