A message from Ophelia 12th May 2021

Wonderful News!  We are going to go ahead with the Fifty Year Reunion Celebration on Sunday 4 July 2021 at midday!  Please, please spread the news!  It will be a scaled down affair from the event we originally planned for 2020 but that leaves more time to talk to old friends.  Please bring a picnic lunch to eat in the Hinton House gardens and urge your classmates (or fellow Old D teachers) to come as well.  We hope to have some very exciting news to share with you on the day.

Please contact Kate Spooner at headspa@dolphinschool.com to reserve your place!

Loving Vincent nationwide UK premiere announced for 61st BFI London Film Festival

Loving Vincent is a stunning, fully painted animated feature, starring Douglas Booth and Oscar-nominated Saoirse Ronan and directed by Dorota Kobiela and (old D) Hugh Welchman. Loving Vincent explores the life and controversial death of Vincent van Gogh, told by his paintings and by the characters that inhabit them. The intrigue unfolds through interviews with the characters closest to Vincent and through dramatic reconstructions of the events leading up to his death.

Broadcast live from the National Gallery on Monday 9 October, audiences in cinemas across the country are invited to experience the film premiere and the following Q&A with special guests.
