Extra-curricular
Dolphin’s extra-curricular programme reveals and celebrates the hidden curriculum—the skills, qualities, and experiences that sit alongside formal lessons but are equally important for personal growth. Through adventure, teamwork, creativity, and challenge, pupils develop resilience, confidence, leadership, and empathy, discovering what they are capable of and exploring new talents and interests. Activities range from mountain expeditions and coasteering to music, drama, clubs, and community projects, giving children opportunities to take risks, collaborate, and make a positive impact.
These experiences also foster connections across year groups through Houses, peer mentoring, and collaborative projects, building a strong sense of community and belonging. By encouraging self-discovery, practical skills, and personal responsibility, Dolphin’s extra-curricular programme complements classroom education, enabling pupils to grow into well-rounded, thoughtful, and confident young people. It celebrates achievement, nurtures potential, and prepares children for life beyond school as capable, engaged, and resilient individuals.
