Years 3-6
In Years 3–6, pupils follow a broad, stimulating curriculum, delivered entirely by subject-specialist teachers, whose passion and expertise inspire enquiry, creativity, and deep understanding. Learning is enquiry-driven and dialogue-rich, encouraging pupils to ask questions, think critically, and make connections across subjects.
This approach develops metacognitive skills, helping children transfer knowledge between domains, while also fostering practical skills such as organisation, planning, and independent study. The curriculum is deliberately rigorous and challenging, stretching pupils’ thinking and encouraging perseverance, curiosity, and resilience. Alongside this, the Dolphin Habits continue to guide personal growth, helping pupils collaborate effectively, reflect on progress, and approach challenge with confidence, humour, and care. Small class sizes ensure individual needs are supported, allowing every child to thrive academically, socially, and personally.
