Year 3 - Reading Museum

Year 3 had a lovely trip to Reading Museum to see the replica of the Bayeux Tapestry.

The children were challenged to find the scene that they had painted in their Art lessons and were helped to translate the Latin phrases that explain each historical scene.

They delighted the visitors with a beautiful rendition of ‘The night before the battle’ from their production of Gimme the Crown!
