Nursery learn about Knights & Castles!

Nursery visited Y2 earlier this week to learn about 'Knights and Castles' - their topic for this half term.
Both year groups had a fantastic time and got so much from the afternoon. The Y2s gave a wonderful, professional presentation, and then all the children looked at and interacted with the castles Y2 had made. The children were even able to see how a bow and arrow worked!
The castles ranged from intricate lego ones to larger structures made from card. Nursery were inspired and returned to their classroom to make castles of their own!
